The Water Communion has been a cherished tradition in Unitarian Universalist congregations since the 1980s. This ritual symbolizes our invitation to gather together as we begin our new service year. Bring with you some water from your home or from your travels.

September 14 - Spiritual Cartography - Rev. "Twinkle" Marie Manning

We will explore some of the ways humans predict, measure, and reflect upon their spiritual journeys.

September 21 - Autumn Equinox: Harvest & Liberation - Rev. "Twinkle" Marie Manning

As the Wheel of The Year turns to the Autumnal Equinox, we will contemplate great harvests and timeless liberation.

September 28 - The Gift of the Stoics - Dennis Perkins

Making each life peaceful and useful was the goal of the Stoics.

Thursday Men's Coffee Group: 10 am in Averill Parlors (downstairs). For more information contact Ray Winship.
Friday Meditation Group: 9 am at the church. The church door is unlocked by 8:50 am and we gather in Averill Parlors (downstairs). A few minutes after 9:00, we head upstairs to sit for 40 minutes. FMI, contact Rachel Marsh-Sachs.
Friday Women's Group: 10 am to noon in Averill Parlors. Please join us in Averill Parlors (downstairs). FMI, contact Rachel Marsh-Sachs.
Sunday Evening Community Potluck and Sing-along. Set-up at 5:30 pm in Averill Parlors (downstairs), potluck dinner at 6, singing at 7. FMI, contact Renee Brill.

Tuesdays & Fridays, 3 to 4 pm

The Evening Sandwich Program, now in its 33rd year of service to the community, is open from 3 to 4 pm on Tuesdays and Fridays. We serve a bagged meal of four sandwiches and a hot soup. The UU Church of Waterville does not currently provide direct financial assistance, but contributes to the Starfish Village Ministry of the Waterville United Church of Christ.
